Paul Wood brings more than 30 years of experience to the firm. He received his undergraduate degree from Louisiana Tech University, and his law degree from Southern University Law Center. Paul spent 10 years in law enforcement and attended law school full-time while working full-time as a Louisiana State Trooper.

Mr. Wood is licensed to practice in all state courts in Louisiana, as well as the United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana. For the firm, Paul’s primary areas of practice are collections, civil litigation including insurance defense and successions law. He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Shreveport Bar Association, and is also a fellow of the Louisiana Bar Foundation. Paul currently serves as chairman of the Northwest Community Partnership Panel, and in that capacity helps to award LBF grants to local organizations.

Paul is also a Certified Professional Landman. He serves on the Board of Directors of the AAPL (American Association of Professional Landmen). Paul is active with the local landman association, the Ark-La-Tex Association of Professional Landmen (ALTAPL) and serves as an ex-officio member of the Board of Directors for ALTAPL. Paul is married to Holly Wood, and they make their home in Shreveport, Louisiana.
