Andrea K. Tettleton is Special Counsel and Managing Attorney of the Baton Rouge sector of the firm’s oil and gas division. Andrea graduated magna cum laude from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2006. Andrea obtained her Juris Doctorate cum laude from Louisiana State University in 2009. Andrea was selected as a Louisiana Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2019 and 2020. She was also awarded the Judge Joseph Keogh Memorial Award in 2015 for her service to the Baton Rouge Bar Association.
Andrea’s practice area focuses on oil and gas law in Louisiana, including drill site and division order title examination and contract negotiations. Prior to joining Seabaugh, Joffrion, Sepulvado & Victory, Andrea practiced for 10 years with a prominent oil and gas firm located in Baton Rouge.
Andrea regularly presents on topics relative to oil and gas title examination in Louisiana. Most recently, Andrea presented at the 2019 LAPL Spring Seminar and the 2016 Mineral Law Institute. She is also an active contributor to the LAPL Newsletter.
Andrea is a member of the Baton Rouge Bar Association, the Louisiana State Bar Association, Baton Rouge Association of Petroleum Landmen (Board of Directors 2014-2016), Lafayette Association of Petroleum Landmen, Women’s Energy Network South Louisiana Chapter (Special Events Coordinator 2015; Vice President 2016; President 2017) and the Louisiana Oil & Gas Association. Andrea was recently elected to serve as secretary on the Women’s Energy Network National Board for the 2020-2021 term.
