Jamie Wilson is a member of our firm’s oil and gas division. She is a cum laude graduate of Louisiana Tech University, having received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science/Pre-law. As Miss Louisiana 2006, Jamie traveled the State of Louisiana and acted as spokesperson for the Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports and the school programs “Louisiana Cares for Children” and “Right Decisions Right Now.” After serving her state, Jamie completed her Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Civil Law degrees at LSU's Paul M. Hebert Law Center. Returning to the North Louisiana region near her hometown of Minden, Jamie has worked as a Landman, Abstractor, Closing Agent and Title Attorney. She has been involved in surface and oil, gas and mineral title research and examination, title opinion preparation, issuance of title insurance, and a wide range of residential and commercial real estate transactional matters. Jamie is a member of the Shreveport Bar Association, the Louisiana State Bar Association, and the Ark-La-Tex Association of Professional Landmen. She is licensed as a producer of title insurance by the Louisiana Department of Insurance. Jamie and her husband currently live in Bossier City with their children.
