Personal Statement

Mr. Sepulvado is the team leader of the seven-member oil and gas division of the firm. He is a life-long resident of Shreveport, Louisiana, and a cum laude graduate of Centenary College of Louisiana, where he majored in Political Science. Mr. Sepulvado obtained his Juris Doctor from Louisiana State University in 2007.

Mr. Sepulvado has an extensive oil and gas practice, and he has rendered and overseen completion of hundreds of title opinions for many different types of clients, ranging from major publicly-traded companies to family-owned operators and investor groups.

In addition to title examination, Mr. Sepulvado represents numerous operators in varied oil and gas litigation, including disputes over maintenance of mineral rights, breach of contract, and landowner disputes. He additionally represents clients before regulatory and administrative agencies in the State of Louisiana.

Mr. Sepulvado is a member of the Shreveport Bar Association and the Louisiana Bar Association. He recently completed a three-year term on the board of directors for the Ark-La-Tex Association of Professional Landmen, where he served one year as treasurer and the following year as secretary. In 2024, Mr. Sepulvado joined the board of directors for the Petroleum Club of Shreveport for a three year term.
