Alan T. Seabaugh
Alan T. Seabaugh graduated from Captain Shreve High School in 1985. He attended Louisiana State University on an academic scholarship where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1990. He received his Law Degree from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University in 1993.
Mr. Seabaugh is licensed to practice in all state courts of Louisiana, the United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana, United States District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Mr. Seabaugh’s primary areas of legal practice include insurance defense, insurance claims, family law, divorce, child support, child custody, real estate law, property law and all areas of civil and commercial litigation.
Mr. Seabaugh is married to the former Laura McClelland and has four daughters. He is a member of the Nations Rifle Association, Louisiana Association of Business and Industry, Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, The Defense Research Institute, the Shreveport Bar Association and the Louisiana Bar Association.
He is the Executive Director of the South Highland Athletic Association, the Administrator of the Calvary Baptist Church baseball, softball and T-ball leagues. He is a former board member of the Shreveport Little League and has coached softball and football for many years.
Mr.Seabaugh is a member of the Louisiana Republican State Central Committee, he was a delegate and the Vice Chairman of the Louisiana delegation to the 2008 Republican National Convention and had the honor of being selected as a member of the 2008 Presidential Electoral College.
Mr. Seabaugh serves as an allied attorney for the Alliance Defense Fund. He and his family are active members of Calvary Baptist Church in Shreveport.
